Årefjällsloppet is returning to the Visma Ski Classics as a Challenger event. The mid-Swedish 55km race was a part of the Pro Tour season III-VII and has a challenging course.
Earlier XC-marathon wrote about the Visma Challenger concept. Årefjällsloppet´s 55km race is the second event to be launched after the rollerski race Klarälvsloppet. In addition to the 55km race there is also two shorter distances available during the weekend; 30km and 8km, all in classic technique and with a mass start.
